Patchwork is a social and collaborative initiative taking place in laundries, aiming for neighbors to meet, exchange clothes and books, and also share skills during workshops while they do their laundry. In this friendly and cozy environment, neighbors from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to share their skills and interests to help one another. Skill sharing their interests is a great opportunity to build a stronger community in the neighborhood and cultivate a sense of belonging and solidarity while transforming a daily life chore into new opportunities. Workshops cover a wide range of interests, such as bicycle repair, free yoga classes, group sharing, knitting, meditation, poetry reading, dance classes, photography, and even language learning.
